today is very special it is the first day of Governor's Island
olympic games and when I say "Go" drop suddenly to the ground

good job athletes
now I want you to find someone who is not wearing headphones
and stand behind them, following their every move
let's try to make a long single file line behind one person

we need our two nations to divide on opposite sides of the field
it's time to prepare for the water gun finale
first everyone take out your shower caps
these will serve as your helmets and will protect your headphones
during this final olympic game, ok?
now take out your water gun, do not fire your water gun
until I begin the game, we want to march until both nations are fifty paces apart
hold your water gun high above your head as you march
I will count to three and the game will begin
ready? 1....2.....3.....begin
for the closing ceremony let's all wave our sheets in the air...now
it's now time for me to say goodbye, look up at the sky
and wave, and on my cue let's shout "goodbye" together

my name is Steve and I'll be your omnipotent voice today
follow my instructions and together we'll all have a happy time
how many other people do you think are participating today?
well, there's only one way to find out
in a minute we're all going to jump as if we were
all kernels of popcorn popping, when you hear the
popcorn noises, jump up and throw your hands in the air
ready? here it is comes (popcorn popping noises)
it looks like we're starting to get some funny looks
from the other people here on Roosevelt Island
let's show them that we're here to have fun
let's make our friend Rob proud and give as many
high-fives to strangers as we can
I want you to find someone who's close to you
and who is not participating, and stand behind them
following their every move, let's try to make
a long single file line behind one stranger

Bats Versus Hammers! it's time to divide into teams
would everyone wearing a red or yellow shirt please
walk up the slope to the northern end of the field
and would everyone wearing a blue or green shirt please
walk down the slope to the southern end of the field
once you've reached the appropriate side of the field
look for the helpers distributing your teams' weapons
once everyone has a weapon, begin blowing them up
the object of the game is to hit members of the other team
with your weapon, now let's remember to keep things
safe, Bats Versus Hammers, is a family sport
the game begins.....now!
wait, wait, wait, stop, stop the music (music stops)
everyone, what are we doing? why can't we work together?
while we were just battling, the lone wolf crept out
of the woods and into the southern tip of the field
he's our common enemy, why are we fighting amongst ourselves?
it's time to unite, everyone remove your colored shirt
to reveal your white shirt underneath, we are
all part of the same team, take your colored shirt
and wave it above your head like a battle flag
(cheers)
when I say "go", let's all use our weapons and take down
this wolf, once and for all, let's go!
it's done, let's all celebrate our victory together
in the best way possible in slow motion,
by high-fiving, and hugging each other, jumping
up and down and running about, let's all celebrate
in slow motion
