Orange Tiny Terror Mod - British Glory Mod kit - How to Improve Audio Quality using Audacity! (Easy Tutorial)

Orange Tiny Terror Mod - British Glory Mod kit

Hi guys!
Here we are with a demo for the Orange Tiny
Terror modification kit.
We call it the British Glory Mod, because
it brings the sound of the Orange Tiny Terror
very close to the sound of the legendary Marshall
Master Volume models, like the JMP.
Now we are gonna listen to some riffs on three
different amps:
The first one is this original 1976 Marshall
JMP
then we have the British Glory Modded Tiny
Terror
and the last one is just a standard Orange
Tiny Terror
We have Vinnie on the guitar because he's
a much better player than me and I will stay
here to switch connection between heads and
cabinet.
Ok, we
can start!

How to Improve Audio Quality using Audacity! (Easy Tutorial)

Hello everybody this is Soham The Technomini
and Welcome Back to another tutorial.
So if you guys have a not so good microphone
don't worry as you can dramatically improve
the audio quality of your voiceovers just
by knowing the right tricks!
Although prevention is better than cure, that
is investing in a good microphone, switching
off appliances that make noise is always advisable
but you can still enhance the audio to a surprisingly
good extent
during editing.
As the title of this video implies - All you're
going to need is a free software called Audacity,
link to download which is down below!
So yeah - let's get started!
First up go ahead and open Audacity.
Now begin by selecting your USB Microphone
in my case, the Zoom H1.
Nextup select the Project Rate and if you
have no idea about it, you can always select
44,100 since that's the most common one.
Then, press the big red record button and
leave few seconds of silence at the begninning
and at the end so that Audacity recognizes
how the background noise actually sounds like.
Then do the voiceover, speak whatever comes
to your mouth!
Next, go to Effect and select Compression
just leave the settings like this and hit
OK.
Now for background noise removal, the first
thing which you are going to do is select
the silence portion of the audio by clicking
and dragging with the left mouse button go
to Effect > Noise Reduction and select Noise
Profile.
Now select the whole clip by double clicking
and go effect noise reduction and set noise
reduction to 14 decibels. Yup hit OK.
And the audio is already much better.
Now to equalise the audio clip, go to effect
> equalisation and select curve as Bass Boost.
Now just leave the graph as shown here and
click on OK.
Once again, go to effect equalisation and
this time select Treble Boost and make sure
that the graph is rising to somewhere between
6-9 decibels on reaching 4000 hertz. And finally
replay your clip to hear how it sounds now.
If you feel it's too loud thereby having too
much of noise in the background, you can also
lower the volume by going to effect > Amplify
and set the amplification to slightly towards
the negative side.
And that's it for this simple tutorial. Now
Time to Enjoy the crispier audio!
