How To Size Your Sony Walkman® MP3 Player


This video will show you how to
personalize the fit on your Sony
Walkman mp3 player.
In case you haven't seen this yet, it's
an all in one mp3 player that is
super easy to use. It has no wires and it is
even water-resistant.
If you find that your W series Walkman
does not fit as snug as you would like, we have
some simple steps to help you get the
best fit and sound quality. Let me show
you how you can adjust them for a more
custom fit.
So let's get started.
For my demonstration, I'm using the NWZ-W262.
The headphones are marked Left and Right.
Make sure you put them on the correct side.
Place the ear buds in your ear so the
band is over top of your ear like this.
Grab both of the ear pieces and gently
twist until you feel a comfortable and
snug fit in your ears.
Depending on the shape of your ears and
your head, you can twist them to fit you.
A good fit should feel snug, but not too
tight or too loose.
If they still don't seem to fit quite
right, you may want to try a
different sizes earbud.
Just so you know, your Walkman comes
supplied with three different size
earbuds- small, medium, and large.
Medium is the size that is pre-installed
on your Walkman.
Is not uncommon to need two different size
earbuds.
You should try different sizes until you
get that comfortable fit.
Just a reminder that when you replace
the earbuds, twist them so they attach
firmly to your Walkman to prevent the
earbuds from detaching.

earbuds, part number EP-EX1
are available for purchase at store.sony.com.
Now that you found the right size earbuds for you, you can personalize the
adjustments in the band that fits around
your ear by bending it like this.
Don't be afraid. The band is flexible to
ensure maximum comfort and sound quality.
you can bend them in or out to make
the band fit work for you.
Keep in mind, as your workout intensifies,
you may need to adjust the earbuds or
the band to fit you.
